People often want to know a bit more about the place they intend to visit, and this page will be extended as the months go by to provide more information about our house, family, and our approach to ensuring this is the best B&B you will stay in!

So Watch this space, as time permits I will add more details!!!

January 2007: We have had our patio area finished now with lovely natural limestone paving, and we hope this area will be enjoyed by our guests who are free to sit in the summerhouse and relax, or to sit on the patio and watch the fish swimming in the pond, or if the sun gets really hot, to sunbathe on a lounger.

There is always steady number of guests who come to the area to go to Bruntingthorpe often referred to as "Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground", this is an old wartime airfield with a 2 mile runway, and these days is the venue for many activities.  In 2007 we expect to have more visitors supporting the "Vulcan To The Skies" organisation who will come to see the Vulcan, and in a few months we hope it will be flying again, it is hoped that it will be part of the 25th anniversary linked to the Falklands war.

Others will come to have Special days, driving exciting cars, and some will bring their own cars for training with Don Palmer who runs events at Bruntingthorpe.

There are other events such as the GTI International event in June on 17th / 18th, which is so popular I regret to say that we were fully booked from 2006.

We can now be found in our second year of operation in a number of printed publications, so look out for us in the 2007 handbooks, let us know if you think we should be in an others, or whether you simply found us "on the web" and this is how you find accommodation!
