Pre-arrival
The main train station in Market Harborough is 15 minutes away by car / taxi.
Public transport by bus from Market Harborough is a half-hour service during the day. There is a bus stop on the
High Street in Husbands Bosworth a 5 minute walk away. Market Harborough has a Shop-mobility scheme.
Arrival and Car Parking Facilities
On arrival at the property there is an open driveway access off the lane with ample access for all cars.
The surface is level imprinted concrete. We can assist guests with luggage. The Village Centre is a few minutes walk
from the property up a slight slope.
Main Entrance and Reception
The front door has 1 step 14cm high maximum, width 160cm. A ramp is available. The door is unlocked from
7:00am to 11:00pm normally. There is a chair provided in the hallway, the hall, stairs and landing are carpeted.
Guest Areas
The floor is level throughout. Guest areas are lit 24hours. The Dining Room, Garden Room and one bedroom are
on the ground floor.
There is oak flooring in the Dining Room, ceramic tiles in the Garden Room.
There are 7 stairs to a half-landing, followed by a further 6 stairs to the first floor bedrooms. The stairs are
20cm high and 24cm deep, 84cm wide. There is a good colour contrast between the floor and walls throughout.
There is a WC available off the hallway.
Dining Room
Breakfast is served in the Dining Room / Garden Room on the ground floor. There are no steps.
Furniture may be moved on request. Tables have an under-space of 66cm high.
Bedrooms: There are 3
bedrooms, one on the ground floor and 2 on the first floor

This room has a double bed, there is access to both sides

An armchair is provided

Floor is laminated, there are ceramic tiles in the en-suite shower room

The shower cubicle has a step 24cm high, there is a seat inside.

Ground and Gardens
We have a large garden for residents to enjoy with patios and lawned areas with furniture and a summerhouse.
All areas are accessible over paving with some slopes.
Additional Information
Assistance dogs are welcomed, please notify us if you have a dog in advance.
We have 3 exits to use for evacuation (If you require assistance for evacuation – such as hearing smoke alarms etc.,
please notify us on arrival)
We have a small drinks fridge on the landing which can be used to store medication or food, larger items can be kept
in the kitchen fridge.
The owner is trained in Disability Awareness.
